Law enforcement from throughout Connecticut gathered at the CT Law Enforcement Memorial in Meriden today for the 34th Annual Memorial Service, held during National Police Week. Sadly, three names were added to the memorial during this morning’s event. The St. Louis Board of Police Commissioners met Wednesday and approved a resolution certifying funding next year for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD). But the city’s mayor vehemently argued against the proposal, warning that it would “cripple” the city and force mass layoffs in other departments. K-9 Training School Graduation Ceremony On Friday, June 6, the New Jersey State Police held the K-9 Training School Graduation Ceremony at the Log Cabin at Division Headquarters.
