12 states will prohibit soda from food stamps program

Millions of Americans, including many in my district, depend on SNAP to put food on their table. But they can’t use their benefits to buy warm chicken or a hot soup from convenience and grocery stores. It makes no sense! I am a co-sponsor of the Hot Foods Act to remove this outdated provisions that is limiting access to food.
