Health minister Kalumbi Shangula visited the Hosea Kutako International Airport to familiarize himself with the measures Namibia has put in place for screening of people arriving into the country for the coronavirus on Thursday. The airport maintains a small area where passengers suspected of having the coronavirus are detained for further screening. The officers determine whether it is safe to allow visitors entry into the country or to send them back if they do not meet the criteria for entry.
