All HEB ISD schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, due to forecasts of extreme cold and potentially hazardous travel conditions. All after school and evening activities for Tuesday, January 27, 2026, are also canceled or will be rescheduled. The latest guidance from the National Weather Service indicates that slushy roads will refreeze Monday night, and significant improvement in road conditions is not expected until during the day on Tuesday at the earliest.
