Crystal Lowe was the first woman to go through my women’s directing program at Hallmark, Make Her Mark. Since then she has directed four more movies with crew and cast raving about her powerhouse skill and clear vision. Crystal had just booked yet another directing job a few months ago when she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. But nothing stops this girl. She fully prepped the movie and then had them set up a live feed so she could direct remotely during chemo. This video was yesterday.
