We were very sad to hear about the old jail buring to the ground in Sneedville, Tennessee last week. Built in 1860, the jail was one of our favorite unique stops we've ever visited. Recently, scientists at the Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute received a delivery we look forward to every summer: hundreds — and HUNDREDS — of juvenile Lake Sturgeon! For more than 20 years, we have worked alongside numerous partners to bring this living fossil and modern day river giant back to the Tennessee River. To date, human-led propagation has seen more than 300,000 sturgeon returned to the river, which they had all but disappeared from by the 1970s. When they join their fellows
