Man… this was special. 🙌🏿 I wanted to perform one of my favorite Ray Charles songs, but the band didn’t even know it. We had ONE rehearsal before the show—started off rough, but they locked in quick. Then the horn section pulled up only 30 minutes before we hit the stage, so all we could do was a quick run-through with the charts in front of them 😅🎺.
