Today marks the 100th anniversary of the discovery of #Tutankhamun’s tomb in the #Egyptian Valley of the Kings. It was discovered in 1922 by excavators led by Howard Carter. Amid the excavation process, George Edward Stanhope Molyneux Herbert, 5th Earl of Carnarvon, died. And because of this, it inspired speculations that the tomb was cursed.
