Prep-Work For Fretwork The key to a better fret job, is prep-work. Here I’m radiusing the fret wire and cutting the frets to length. I always cut the first and last inch off the ends of the fret wire as that part doesn’t radius. Then I am using the Stewmac deluxe fret tang nipper on the ends of the frets.
