A memorial was held this week marking the 94th anniversary of the 1929 Hebron massacre. Kaddish prayers were recited at the Hebron cemetery at the graves of the victims. Over 60 men, women and children, religious and secular, Ashkenazic and Sephardic were killed with knives and axes on August 24, 1929 / the 18th of Av 5689.
