The Supreme Court yesterday ruled that a Black Lives Matter protest planned to take place in Sydney this afternoon is illegal, denying legal protection to anyone who chooses to march. The protest was initially approved on the basis fewer than 500 would attend, which would have been within health guidelines, but it soon ballooned with almost 30,000 people registering their intent to attend on social media. Many protesters say they are going to march tomorrow regardless of the Supreme Court's ruli
