The Green Bay Packers started slow, handed the New York Jets easy points off turnovers and were unable to overcome a sloppy, uninspired effort in a 30-10 loss to the visiting Jets in Saturday night's preseason opener at Lambeau Field.

The Packers started at their own 40 after Israel Abanikanda 's 40-yard return. Jalen White gained 16 yards on two carries to move into Jets territory, but back-to-back holding penalties pushed Green Bay back to its 36. The Packers punted after a 17-yard pass to Ben Sims on third-and-29.
