Dozens of MARTA bus drivers, friends, and family gathered Sunday outside the MARTA bus stop in Decatur to honor 47-year-old Leroy Ramos, who lost his life on Friday over a $2.50 fare.

MARTA employees are rallying around the family of a driver shot to death Friday during a dispute police say started over the $2.50 bus fare.

The family of 47-year-old Leroy Ramos is now left with a huge void in their hearts. “He was a great husband, he was a great man. He just wanted to be a provider, come home,” said Tavisha, his sister-in-law.
