With Hurts out, the Commanders rallied to pull off an upset that hindered Philadelphia's chances at obtaining the NFC's top playoff seed.

On Monday, Philadelphia head coach Nick Sirianni offered no update on Hurts’s status for Week 17 against Dallas, stating that Hurts is in the concussion protocol.

Since joining the Eagles as Jalen Hurts’ backup this offseason, Kenny Pickett said he has been staying prepared for his chance to start. This Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, he will likely have to put his preparation to the test.
