Hallmark is kicking off the 2024 holiday season early this year with three new Christmas movies set to premiere this weekend.

Hallmark has started its Countdown to Christmas with new holiday movies each day of the next several weekends.

The first new Christmas movie for this year debuts on Friday, Oct. 18, on the Hallmark Channel. Fans without cable can stream the channel for free.

Directed by Bradley Walsh, ‘Twas the Date Before Christmas’ follows a blind date between Jessie and Bryan that inadvertently leads to them spending Christmas together with her family. Jessie (Amy Groening) is distraught when she learns that her family is planning to cancel their annual Christmas games because of her relationship status.
