Greta Thunberg has been deported from Israel after the humanitarian aid ship she was aboard was intercepted by the Israeli military and towed to the port city of Ashdod.The Swedish climate activist was among a 12-person crew on board the Madleen,

Thunberg, 22, arrived in Paris a day after the Israeli navy prevented her and a group of fellow pro-Palestinian activists from sailing to Gaza.

“On international waters, we were illegally attacked and kidnapped by Israel, and taken against our will to Israel, where we were detained. And then some of us deported. Some are still there.”
