Scattered storms today will move in from the west around noon and will continue to move to the east through the evening.

Through this hot and humid week, storm chances will remain limited. We’ll keep the risk of a stray storm or two each day through this week. By Friday, a weak cold front may bring in some better forcing for a few more storms, but we’re still not sold on that. Even for the weekend forecast, we’re keeping the storm chances limited at 20%.

While severe weather isn’t completely ruled out on Tuesday, there’s a much smaller chance of severe storms. Scattered thunderstorms are expected throughout the day, but the bulk of severe weather potential will reside south and east of the KTIV viewing area. Highs near 80.
