EAST LANSING, MI – A 23-year-old has been charged with open murder for the shooting death of another man at an East Lansing apartment complex. Peiyun Qin was arraigned on Tuesday, Dec. 16, in Ingham County District Court on charges for allegedly killing 37-year-old Feng Lin.

The suspect, a 14-year-old student of Community Trails Middle School, surrendered to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office on Dec. 15, Lavon Police Chief J. Michael Jones told Chron Tuesday morning. He was then transferred to Collin County, where he is being held in a juvenile detention facility.

Aiden Terlecki, 19, of Middletown; Joshua Moore, 21, of Neptune Township; and Jahsaad M. Banks, 19, of Asbury Park, were each charged with first-degree murder and first-degree conspiracy to commit murder. They also face second-degree weapons offenses and third-degree hindering charges.
