The Celtics moved off Georges Niang's salary in a deal with the Jazz before signing free agent forward Chris Boucher to a one-year deal.

The Celtics reportedly are trading recently acquired forward Georges Niang and 2 future second-round draft picks to the Utah Jazz in exchange for rookie RJ Luis Jr.

Boucher will add some much-needed length to the roster, too, which should help if Boston looks to play a high-pressure defensive style. Shortly after the free agency signing was announced, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance of the "How 'Bout Them Celtics?
