Ward’s viral touchdown celebration, in which he covers his mouth with his left hand, extends his right arm and puts his palm down, has gone viral. Other players across college football and even in other sports have begun doing it. However, Ward wasn't the one who actually created it.

As we gear up for what looks to be a fantastic finish for this football year, I've decided to do a mid-season superlative for players, coaches, and teams that have stood out so far this season. Cam Ward has been excellent to start the season.

The superstar quarterback has always been critical of himself and now after the bye week, he believes he can take his game to the next level.
