Boeing said on Tuesday it has entered a credit agreement worth $10 billion with a consortium of banks, as the U.S. planemaker readies financing sources amid a crippling strike and upcoming debt maturities.

Depending on whom you ask, Boeing is losing anywhere from $1 billion per week (says The Washington Post) to $1 billion per month (says CNBC) as this strike drags on. Prior guesses have ranged as high as $100 million to $150 million per day (which works out to $3 billion to $4.5 billion per month).

SEATTLE -Boeing factory workers will hold a large rally in Seattle on Tuesday to demand a better wage deal, mounting pressure on new CEO Kelly Ortberg to end a bitter strike that has plunged the planemaker further into financial crisis.
