New York Giants legend Eli Manning didn't make it to Canton in his first year of eligibility. There are a few reasons why

To many New York Giants fans, retired quarterback Eli Manning should have been a slam-dunk first-ballot Hall of Famer. However, as is now known, not enough of the 40+ Hall of Fame voting committee members saw it that way.

Three of the 15 modern-era finalists made the Class of 2025: cornerback Eric Allen, defensive end Jared Allen, and tight end Antonio Gates. (Wide receiver Sterling Sharpe, the fourth member of the class, was a senior candidate after previously not getting in as a modern-era candidate.)

The New York Giants are expected to find a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft. Eli Manning has some advice for the team about what to look for.
