The animated series that features Viola Davis reprising her "Suicide Squad" role as Amanda Waller debuts on Max on December 5.

The "Creature Commandos" are nearly here. While the animated series, written and executive produced by James Gunn, doesn't debut on Max until Thursday, Dec. 5, a new trailer debuted as part of New York Comic Con.

James Gunn, the co-head of DC Universe, recently gave a cryptic update on The Authority, a superhero feature reportedly part of the new franchise’s first chapter: Gods and Monsters. The project is an adaptation of the comic-book superhero team of the same name Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch created for DC Comics.
