Activision announced several updates to RICOCHET anti-cheat to better protect players from cheaters in Black Ops 6.

Activision says it has “disabled a workaround to a detection system” in Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone that led to legitimate players getting banned by the Ricochet anti-cheat system. The company says the problem “impacted a small number of legitimate player accounts,” and all accounts affected were restored.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be playable (in beta) with Xbox Cloud Gaming on day one. Microsoft shared the news this afternoon, while adding it's also bringing Xbox Cloud Gaming support to both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Warzone for Game Pass Ultimate members.

The three most recent Call Of Duty games are all going to be available to stream via Xbox Cloud Gaming, with Black Ops 6 available from day one.

The game says it has made adjustments to its anti-cheat system RICOCHET after players were wrongfully flagged as cheaters.
