WWE has now confirmed that the 2026 Royal Rumble premium live event will, for the first time, be held outside North America.

WWE Royal Rumble is officially coming to Saudi Arabia. Mike Johnson of PWInsider previously reported that WWE Royal Rumble 2026 would be held in Saudi Arabia, and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) confirmed the news.

The Royal Rumble, one of its biggest annual events, will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in January 2026. This marks the first time the Royal Rumble will take place outside of North America, and only the second time in its history it has been held outside the United States (the inaugural event took place in Hamilton, Ontario, in 1988).

Just hours before its big debut on Netflix, WWE announced the 2026 Royal Rumble is set to be hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will be the first time the event has been hosted outside of North America.
