Mexico has established minimum export prices for fresh tomato exports to the U.S., after President Donald Trump imposed tariffs on tomatoes and withdrew from a bilateral agreement that would have prevented these from taking effect.

Prime Minister Mark Carney is scrambling to save his country's relationship with Mexico after it disintegrated late last year when Canadian officials suggested they'd be better off negotiating a trade deal with the Trump administration alone.
