Square Enix lawyers elbow in to shut down Yoko Taro fan archive, bafflingly, 6 months after he'd thanked its creators for all the love
Accord's Library, a fan website that gathers and archives lore from the Nier and Drakengard games, has been told to shut things down. This was shared on the site's Discord server (thanks, Gamesradar ), which reads:
6 months after Yoko Taro thanked fans for archiving his work on Nier and Drakengard, Square Enix is shutting them down
The Accord's Library site includes a library of materials related to both Nier and Drakengard, including official guides, short stories, and manga expanding the games' shared universe. In some cases, the site includes scans of these books and unofficial translations - which is likely the core of what Square Enix took exception to.

Accord’s Library, a fan archive of the work of NieR director Yoko Taro, is shutting down following a legal notice from Square Enix. The website, which collects and archives works related to Drakengard and Nier, will be forced to close its doors at the end of October, it’s claimed.
