Heading into Week 15, Next Gen Stats gives Los Angeles a 97% chance of making the playoffs. A win over Detroit would boost their odds to over 99%; even if they lose to the Lions, their chances remain high at 92%. The playoffs are seemingly not a question for the Rams, but where they'll seed is still up in the air.

The Ringer's Diante Lee, though, predicts the Rams will look at the veteran starting quarterback market instead of the draft because of general manager Les Snead's history. Snead did it with Stafford in 2021, so it stands to reason he could do it again after Stafford retires to capitalize on a roster that is young and ascending.

A year ago, the Los Angeles Rams ' run defense was one of the worst in the NFL. They allowed the 26th-most yards per carry at 4.6 and had last been seen giving up 285 rushing yards to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Divisional Round.
