Joey Bosa has gotten his feet wet with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills lost their 2025 NFL preseason opener 35-24 against the New York Giants. Bosa made an appearance with his new team. The Bills' new veteran pass rusher started the contest. He did not appear on the stat sheet but was a threat and swatted away a pass.

The Bills are a much better team than the Giants, and while much of that is the star quarterback and difference makers on both sides of the ball, there’s another reason that becomes apparent quickly during preseason football. Good teams usually have better depth throughout their roster, giving them an advantage when it becomes backups vs. backups.
