Philadelphia SWAT officers are on the scene at a home in Northeast Philadelphia after a man inside the home began firing shots, sources say. The home is on the 7500 block of Verse Road. There's no word if anyone is inside the home with the man.

A SWAT team responded to a Northeast Philadelphia home Friday morning after police said someone inside fired shots at officers.

A suspect is in custody after Philadelphia say he opened fire on officers who were responding to a 9-1-1 call in the city's Burholme neighborhood Friday morning.
