Voters hit the polls across the country on Tuesday, weighing in on everything from high-stakes political races to municipal funding.
Pam Letourneau-Fallon is one of the fifth grade teachers at the St. Johnsbury School. She actually encouraged the Vermont Secretary of State’s office to adopt the Kid Governor program. She used to teach in Connecticut, where Kid Governor started.
The seven candidates were chosen from among twenty-six nominees, each nominated by their school for the 2025 Statewide Election.
Paul Dame, who was leading the party when it made significant electoral gains in 2024, faces a challenge from Sen. Russ Ingalls, who says the party has no money.
Fifth graders around the state voted last week for one of seven Kid Governor candidates. The election results will be announced next week.
