The winning numbers for the Powerball jackpot worth an estimated $1.1 billion will be drawn on Monday. The drawing is set for 10:59 p.m. ET and will be streamed live on Powerball.com.
A Salinas grocery store sold a ticket worth more than $700,000 in Monday night’s Powerball drawing. According to the California Lottery, a ticket matching all five numbers — but missing the Powerball — was sold at Star Market, located at 1275 S. Main St. in Salinas. The ticket is worth $708,443.
Tickets cost $2 per play, and are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The odds of winning Powerball’s jackpot are 1 in 290.2 million.
