Following in the footsteps of It Takes Two 's success, developer Hazelight Studios is releasing Split Fiction, another convention-defying co-op game.
Similar to Hazelight's previous co-op games like It Takes Two and A Way Out, Split Fiction is a mandatory co-op game. Thankfully, however, all three of these games offer a Friend's Pass.
When It Takes Two was released, two friends could play with a single copy as long as they were on the same platform — but with Split Fiction, a single copy is all you need to play with a friend.
How does the Friend Pass work in Split Fiction? Players who purchase Split Fiction can invite their friends to play with them regardless of platform and whether that friend owns the game or not.
Summary Split Fiction includes the Friend's Pass feature for cross-play on various platforms, following the success of It Takes Two.
