Meanwhile, a victim was located on the ground in a third-floor hallway area suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, that individual, now identified as 46-year-old Antwan Bluthenthal (also known as Antwan Blu), died from his injuries. The suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of murder.

Homicide detectives on Wednesday identified a man killed in a Gaslamp Quarter shooting over the weekend as a San Diego resident. Antwan Bluthenthal, 46, was gunned down inside a multi-story building on Sixth Avenue near G Street around 5:20 p.m. Sunday, San Diego homicide Lt. Lou Maggi said.
