Gladstone Road in Jackson Township will be closed this Monday through Wednesday including night closures. It will be located between Bailey Road and State Route 45 to complete a necessary culvert replacement. The detour route is from State Route 45 to Silica Road to Bailey Road.

Limited road closures to accommodate the marathon runners will begin at 6 a.m. Sunday, with full closures taking effect at 7 a.m., Suffolk County police said.

The Eversource Hartford Marathon (and accompanying half marathon, 5K and marathon relay) will take place Saturday starting at 8 a.m. in front of the state Capitol in Hartford and finishing in Bushnell Park.

In addition to potential parking woes, drivers should be aware of the numerous road closures due to the marathon this weekend. There will be street closures throughout the weekend, beginning at 9 a.m.
