Amtrak service between Philadelphia and New York was halted for hours after three family members were struck and killed by a train in Bucks County.

Three family members in Pennsylvania are dead after being struck by a train Thursday near Philadelphia. Bristol Borough Police Chief Joe Moors said during a news conference that three adults were killed by an Amtrak train traveling from Boston, Mass., to Richmond, Va. Moors confirmed to Fox News Digital they were all related.

Officials on Friday identified the three family members who were fatally hit by an Amtrak train near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, along with their manners of death.
