The Dallas Wings had quite the scare during Tuesday's loss to the New York Liberty when rookie star Paige Bueckers left the game with a back injury, but it appears she avoided a significant setback.

That being said, the WNBA took to social media to share a major announcement about Bueckers on Monday. In their post, the league announced that Bueckers has been named the WNBA Rookie of the Month for the month of July.

With the 2025 WNBA trade deadline set for 3 p.m. ET Thursday, that transaction marked the second major overhaul for the Wings this season. Dallas flipped NaLyssa Smith to the Las Vegas Aces for a 2027 first-round pick on June 30.
