Francisco Lindor delivered a historic walk-off home run, his first ever with the Mets, lifting New York past the Cardinals and notching his 250th MLB homer in dramatic fashion.

With two runners on and the Mets winning 2-0 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Lindor hit Ruiz’s second pitch, a heater right down the middle, 412 feet to dead center for a three-run home run. It was his second home run of the game, his 20th career multi-home run game, and his fifth home run of the season.

On Monday against the Phillies, Lindor picked up right where he left off, launching a leadoff home run to start off the game, giving the Mets a 1-0 lead. This marks back-to-back games that Lindor has hit a leadoff home run, which has him join elite company in Mets history to do so.
