The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey, recorded a number of snow totals from all over the area. The highest snowfall amount in Lehigh County was in Upper Macungie Township, at 2 inches.

Lehigh Valley schools managed to get through the day Monday without widespread delays or closures. Pre-treatment and plowing of roads kept traffic moving, as many returned to the classroom or workplace following some time off for the holidays.

Weather forecasters say drivers should be prepared for slick road conditions late Sunday night through Monday night.

Philadelphia International Airport recorded just 1.8 inches of snow by early Monday afternoon, but places farther south saw 6-plus inches.
