West Virginia high school football is back and so begins our Player of the Week polls for the state. Teams showcased more of what they’ve got heading into Week 8 of the regular season. As such, we have 11 athletes nominated this week for the SBLive’s West Virginia Football Player of the Week award from October 17-19,

Week 9 of the high school football season saw more notable performances from South Florida’s best. This week, we continue a feature where we ask you to vote for the best performer of the week in Miami-Dade and Broward high school football.

It’s time to vote in our poll for The Island Packet’s high school football Player of the Week from area schools and games played last week. Voting ends Friday at noon, and the winner will be announced on The Island Packet’s website that afternoon.
