Chelsea captain Reece James spared the Blues' blushes by netting a last-gasp free kick that pinched a point in a 2-2 stalemate with AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday evening.

Chelsea scored a late equalizer to draw 2-2 at home against Bournemouth on Tuesday, as Reece James was the hero. The Blues had 26 shots to Bournemouth's seven but they needed a late, late equalizer to grab a point.

Reece James scored his first Premier League goal since August 2022 to rescue a draw for Chelsea at home to Bournemouth. Chelsea took the lead on 13 minutes when Nicolas Jackson set up Cole Palmer to continue their fine run of goal combinations only for Justin Kluivert to equalise with a 50th-minute penalty.
