Target is gearing up for a major Black Friday sale on Friday, Nov. 28. The chain’s in-store Black Friday deals begin on Friday, instead of Thanksgiving Day, like many other stores, including Walmart.

Target has already started dropping hints and early perks for its Black Friday event, and for shoppers wanting to lock in value this holiday season, knowing the playbook gives you a major advantage.

Most of Target’s current promotions labeled as “early Black Friday 2025 deals” end on November 23, though they are likely to either return on Black Friday or be replaced by additional daily offers.
