Magnolia ISD has unanimously approved a daily period of prayer on each campus, in compliance with Senate Bill 11, which mandates that Texas school boards vote on the establishment of such periods.

Magnolia ISD's board passed a resolution Feb. 9 to establish a daily period of prayer, becoming one of the first school districts in Texas to do so under Senate Bill 11.

At its Feb. 9 school board meeting, the Magnolia ISD board approved sending bond propositions to help with the construction of new campus facilities on the ballot in the May 2 election.
