Large hail pelted Northeast Ohio on Wednesday, with some areas reporting hailstones as large as 2 inches in diameter while a severe storm system moved through the region. The National Weather Service had placed the area under a slight risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe weather Wednesday into Wednesday night.
Severe weather is possible in North Texas this week as a cold front arrives. The front will move through the region on Tuesday bringing chances of isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth. Storm timing will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday.
The main threats will be large hail, damaging wind and lightning.
