The Green Bay Packers have signed former third-round pick Desmond Ridder to bolster their quarterback depth chart.

“Veteran QB Desmond Ridder is signing to the Packers practice squad, per source. With Jordan Love and Malik Willis dealing with injuries and Green Bay locked into the No. 7 seed, Ridder could be elevated for Sunday’s game vs. Minnesota,” reported NFL insider Tom Pelissero on X, formerly Twitter.

The Minnesota Vikings will host the Green Bay Packers in the 2025 season finale on Sunday afternoon in a bitter NFC North rivalry. While the Vikings aren't playing for a playoff spot, they can achieve their third winning record in four years under head coach Kevin O'Connell.
