An Arizona Department of Public Safety Ranger Helicopter went down Wednesday night while it was responding to an active shooter incident, killing both people on board.

An Arizona Department of Public Safety pilot and paramedic trooper were killed in a helicopter crash after "numerous gunbattles" rocked a quiet neighborhood near downtown Flagstaff, authorities said.
