With a Canadian team in the World Series for the first time in 32 years and two rosters filled with star international players, the 2025 World Series presented by Capital One is reaching large global audiences driven by viewership across the United States,

The Toronto Blue Jays battled their way to a hard-fought Game 7 victory over the Seattle Mariners, 4–3, clinching the American League pennant and securing their first World Series appearance in over 30 years.

More recently, the Dodgers lost the World Series in seven games to the Astros in 2017, and are currently facing George Springer, the former Astros hitter that set a World Series record with home runs in each of the last four games of the series to win the series and MVP.
