A winter weather advisory is in effect for the following Kentucky and Indiana counties from 7 p.m. Tuesday until noon Wednesday: Oldham, Trimble, Henry, Harrison, Nicholas. Clark, Orange, Washington, Scott, Jefferson, Dubois, Crawford, Harrison, Floyd.

Kentucky is battling devastating floods after another powerful winter storm hit the eastern U.S. over the weekend, leaving at least 10 people dead.

(WFIE) -Parts of the Tri-State picked up light snow of an inch or less on Tuesday morning. The main event will bring several inches of snow to the entire area Tuesday night through early Wednesday morning.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — At least nine people have died in the most recent round of harsh weather to pummel the United States including eight people in Kentucky who died as creeks swelled from heavy rain and water covered roads.
