LONDO— Two-time Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz on Tuesday said he is pulling out of the grass-court Grand Slam event next month because of his lingering wrist injury. Alcaraz injured his right wrist at the Barcelona Open last month and had already withdrawn from the French Open that starts this weekend.

Carlos Alcaraz will skip Wimbledon ​and the grass-court season ‌as he recovers from a wrist injury ​that also ​saw him withdraw from the ⁠French Open, ​the world number two ​said on Tuesday.

Alcaraz will also miss Queen’s, the prestigious warm-up event also held in London, after ruling himself out of the entire grass-court swing.
