Just before the draft, the Titans made news by signing former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett. Following the Ward pick, Lockett had a strong message for the young quarterback. "Let’s Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats (Cam Ward) Let’s get it!!!!!" Lockett wrote on X.

The Titans are expected to draft Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the top pick, and Lockett will likely be a safety net for Ward. Lockett and Ward are closely connected with safety Quandre Diggs, Ward’s cousin and Lockett’s best friend. Diggs spent last season with the Titans after five years with the Seattle Seahawks.
